Operating under a new, strong management team with extensive pharmaceutical expertise, the Enaleni group’s head office is based in Cape Town while the manufacturing facility is situated just south of Durban in KwaZulu-Natal.

Having recently divested of its non-core consumer businesses, the group is now strategically positioned to concentrate solely on the local pharmaceutical market in which, through Cipla Medpro, it commands a substantial, and ever-increasing, share within inter alia the cardiovascular, antiretroviral, respiratory and neuro-psychiatric categories.

The driving ethos behind the group’s business model is a belief that affordable healthcare is a right for all South Africans, not a privilege and to this end, it is firmly committed to providing world class, yet affordable, medicines.
